Сегодня в одном из документов:

А че смешного? Ведь это просто Сожитель вульгарис (a person (not necessarily a spouse) with whom you cohabit and share a long-term sexual relationship).

Кстати, spousal equivalent мне еще не попадался. Правда, я мало имею дела с такими документами. Обычно - partner.
