Разве нужно очень хорошо знать английский язык, чтобы понять, что HOME и HELP - два разных слова? И как достучаться до людей, которые не читают даже заголовков (!)

Или - дорогу ремонтировать не надо. Во-первых, по ней будут слишком быстро ездить, опасно. Во-вторых, администрация освоит бабло. Это, конечно, аргУменты. Ну и ездите по своим колдобинам.

Или - вот у Мальгина сейчас - спорный пост, можно дискутировать, дать разные оценки и т.п. Но как можно дискутировать с человеком, когда ему говоришь: "120 человек из 150 были ранены". И он отвечает: "... а мой дедушка (дядя, тетя, друг-приятель) не был ранен, значит, вы все врете и ваще "№;№*".

"Masumiyet Müzesi" is the name of a museum-house in which several scenes in the novel take place, and which Pamuk actually plans to open in Çukurcuma, İstanbul's funky antiques district. Pamuk started to collect the objects to be exhibited in the museum when he purchased the museum-house 10 years ago, and in preparation for the museum's opening he has researched how the furniture and objects of everyday life are exhibited all around the world.

As part of preparations for the Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture, a number of projects have been discussed and debated in recent months. Among the 60 projects completed so far are the Sur-i Sultani Master Plan, the Ataturk Cultural Center (AKM) renovation project, the Topkapi Palace Kitchens and Harem restoration project, the Hagia Sophia restoration, the redesign of the Port of Theodosius area, and Nobel laureate author Orhan Pamuk's Masumiyet Müzesi (Museum of Innocence). Out of some 1,900 project proposals submitted, 281 were accepted. Work on this range of projects, some of which will alter the image of the city and others which will contribute to the cultural life of the metropolis, continues, sometimes silently. The museum described by Nobel-laureate Turkish novelist Orhan Pamuk in his latest book "Museum of Innocence", will be opened in Istanbul.
"Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency" is also displaying efforts for the opening of the museum in 2010, a written statement from the agency said on Tuesday.
Pamuk has been carrying out the preliminary activities for the establishment of the museum in Istanbul's Cukurcuma district for a long time. The museum is expected to make a poetic and documentary representation of the culture of Istanbul from 1950s until the present day, through various objects used in daily life, photographs, paintings and movies. "Нигде в Африке"

Сегодня выбралась на работу пешком.
Поэтому смело взялась за следующий роман. Стефани Цвейг "Нигде в Африке".

А мне нравится. Написано очень простым языком, видно и перевод хороший. К тому же я, возможно, немного подустала от "метафизики" и "метахимии" современной литературы, от многокрасочности и многогранности ее и хочется почитать нечто сюжетное (необязательно остро-), человеческое, простое как жизнь.

ЗЫ. Фильм не смотрела.
